Local projects

Feeding Britain is supporting local pilots around the UK. These are networks of local organisations working to support people suffering from or at risk of hunger in their communities. Typically they involve food banks and other emergency food aid organisations, community cafes and kitchens, community food projects, social supermarkets, organisations working on welfare rights and debt management, local authorities, schools, and local business and social enterprise.

Currently we have pilots in the following areas- more information on each is coming soon!

  • Birkenhead
  • Bradford
  • Bristol
  • Cornwall and Devon
  • Coventry
  • Derbyshire
  • Lambeth
  • Leicester
  • Liverpool
  • South Shields

If you are interested in establishing a Feeding Britain pilot in your area, please contact us. We are particularly interested to support new pilots in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland .

  1. We are doing our first summer play scheme which is funded by Sport England and NWLDC – with £24,000 we have provided 750 full day places over a period of 5 weeks currently booked to 89% – we think this shows local need!
